Measurable: Our resources can be provided on a day basis or as a team delivery basis whereby performance criteria can be agreed and contracted.

Achievable: A detailed scope of work is required for all of our engagements.  It is important for us to maintain high standards of client feedback and therefore it is critical that we correctly match resource capability to the scope of work.

Relevance: In addition to domain expertise matching, we also consider other important factors to ensure a successful delivery outcome.  These include industry familiarity, language and soft skills such as presentation/speaking, report writing and problem solving skills. Off-shore resourcing strategic can provide further scope to increase cost efficiencies whilst at the same time providing access to a growing number of high quality CMM level 5 delivery centers.  However, the path to cost efficiency can be problematic for those organizations that do not have the experience and expertise of the offshore model.

SMI Technologies’ SMART Resourcing division benefits from over twelve years experience of working with off-shore companies to provide global resourcing and off-shore delivery center capability to Fortune 1000 companies.  It is fair to say that during that time, the delivery methods have steadily improved and the cultural barriers eroded so that off-shore cost efficiency goals and quality of service can truly co-exist.

Partnership reformed in the mid-nineties with a number of companies in India form the backbone of SMI Technologies’ offshore resourcing capabilities. From these, we are able to augment our on-shore resourcing capability with off-shore cost efficient resourcing and delivery centre options.
